58 caliber hazard powder cake molds for muskets. can use any hollow base 58 caliber bullet for the cartridge.

The cake is made with 60grains of 3F black powder, 1.8 grains of dextrin and 1.8 grains of water mixed and compressed in the mold, let dry for a day remove from the mold. Since the cake is so large I recommend letting it dry in a warm dry place for an extra day or two, to make sure its completely dry. Verify it is dry by weighing it, it should be close to the weight if the dry ingredients(61.8 grains)

Use nitrocellulose glue spread across the top of the powder cake to attach the bullet. Hold them together till the glue sets. When dry paint with thinned nitrocellulose glue, a sealing coat over the powder.
