Wood 36 Colt split cartridge box

This a wood version of the split 36 caliber cartridge box made by Colt from 1860 till the end of paper cartridges in the early 1870's. These are made the same as the original boxes and are not made for repeated use. They were originally a one time use and to be thrown away. By gluing the outer edges of the label they can be reused but care must be taken opening, they can split easily.

Use the 36 caliber cartridge former and die cut envelopes to make the cartridges for this box.

The kit includes a 2 piece split block, 2 lengths of wire, 2 labels and a PDF file so you can print more labels.
